Was trying to randomize emission shader colors on a string of lights and little did I know it wouldn't work without using parenting. If I hadn't seen this video I would have kept banging my head against object info node applying to the root instance (where the array was applied) and not the duplicates. When i go to add the vertices up the first cylinder, it's only showing 3 faces of the shape. Not completely wrapping the object, unfortunately 😢
